Affiliated Groups help us work towards creating better streets. They are independent of Living Streets but share a common cause and seek to promote our campaigns and messages.
Setting up a Local Group
We have seen Local Groups make a real difference to their local neighbourhood streets. We have plans to support many more Local Groups in many more places - if there isn’t one near you, why not set up your own?
Setting up a Local Group needn’t be daunting. We can help you each step of the way. In this video Susie from the Wandsworth Living Streets Group talks about how the group got started.
We also:
- Help you promote the Group in your area
- Link you up with a Group mentor
- Give your Local Group an interactive web page
- Provide a wide range of campaign resources to help your group take action locally
- Give branding and marketing advice
- Offer a small grant to cover administration costs.
