Planting life in your street
Join our next London campaigners meeting, 6pm, Thursday 6th September. Meet at Argyle Square, Kings Cross.
This month's meeting is about 'planting life in your street' (or Guerrilla Gardening) and will get you looking at the streets around you in a whole new way.
We will start with some planting and end with a discussion in a nearby pub. The activity will be led by Richard Reynolds, author of 'On Guerrilla Gardening' and founder of the campaign Pimp your Pavement www.pimpyourpavement.com. Richard Reynolds regularly speaks about guerrilla gardening around the UK and beyond as his experience as a guerrilla gardener and as a blogger and author on the subject. It's sure to be an informative and inspiring evening.
Greg Cowan, chair of Kings Cross Living Streets will be our host for the evening.

Streets for All
The London Campaigners Group (LCG) is a forum for inspiring and supporting local campaign work in London. It is open to anyone interested in campaigning on pedestrian issues in London.
In this month’s meeting we will be discussing the daily barriers that disabled and older people face when using their streets and how Living Streets groups and campaigners can better engage with those issues.
As usual there will also be the opportunity to discuss your own local campaigns and raise questions with the group.
The meeting will be chaired by Caroline Russell. It would be helpful (but not obligatory!) if you could let us know if you plan to come so we know how many to cater for.
If you are a chair of a Living Streets group please invite your members to come along too.
