What our volunteers say

Find out what some of our current and past volunteers have to say about volunteering with us.

"I had a great two years of volunteering at the Living Streets head office. It was a really good transition from full time work to retirement, stimulating but stress free, and good for my morale to be contributing to a worthwhile cause. I learnt a lot too! I like to think it was a mutually beneficial experience.” Isabelle, walking campaigns volunteer

"What drew me to Living Streets was that it was a charity that really cared about people and making a difference. From the very beginning I was given lots of responsibility, and extensive guidance. The invaluable experience I gained really helped me in several interviews; I am currently a Sales and Marketing Exec at a Digital Marketing agency." Adwoa, marketing volunteer

"I have enjoyed volunteering with Living Streets as it has enabled me to see how a policy department operates and develop my skills. Where else can you write to the Secretary of State for Transport and the Mayor of London in the same afternoon?" Robert, policy volunteer
