Annual General Meeting 2013
Living Streets President Terence Bendixson welcomed Living Streets members to the Annual General Meeting for 2013 held on Thursday, 14 March at Toynbee Hall Lecture Theatre in London.
Living Streets hosted Professor Mike Kelly (pictured above), Director of the Public Health Excellence Centre at NICE, who gave an excellent and inspiring talk on the recent NICE guidance on walking and cycling, exploring the opportunities and challenges this presents.

Living Streets Chief Executive, Tony Armstrong, also presented the new organisational strategy and there was lively discussion throughout the evening.
Farewell Mike... and welcome, Archie!
This year the board of trustees said a big thank you and goodbye to long-standing Chair of Trustees, Michael Loveday who stood down after six years. During that time the organisation has grown and developed significantly and Mike has overseen and supported that development and led the Trustees through a very exciting time.
Yet as we bid Mike farwell, we are delighted to announce the election at the AGM of Archie Robertson OBE as the new Chair of Trustees.
Archie is an experienced strategic leader who has worked across the transport and infrastructure sectors. Born and raised on Skye, Archie is familiar with the challenges of accessibility in remote places, and his impressive CV is extremely relevant to our work and equalled only by his passion for the Living Streets agenda.
The Vice Chair of Trustees Susan Parham moved the 2012 Annual Report and Treasurer Gavin Stoddart moved the adoption of the 2012 Annual Accounts and the appointment of auditors.
Thank you to all those attended and to all the members for their ongoing support.
